Yep… Where the Money Meets the Talent.. as you may have noticed, our ‘epic’ news hinted at here last week is now finally published on the interwebs: MoMo will be Rockin at Congress! Have a skim through agenda there so far – many thanks to all supporters on this effort – suggest you book a seat for the Theatre affair in Hall-8 on Thurs the 28th as there’s little doubt that will fill-up real quick. Rumor has it we also have ‘a few’ extra exhibition passes – remain calm – indeed.. pls. allow us chance to get sorted here and will be sure to advise how those bonus tix get allocated (Hint: tweet #MoMo_MWC). Totally pumped to see you there, more deets asap, meanwhile lets get on with weekly update below.
For events on-deck around the world tonight we note Ann Arbor with a Major Mobile Platforms Panel, Birmingham has focus on Business Apps while Boston runs a Mobile Enterprise theme and Calgary will explore Mobile Trends and Opportunities. The Frankfurt team is set to host show (Feb. 5th) inside MDays, Kuala Lumpur celebrates their 1st Anniversary of holding events at the swank G-Tower venue as MoMo Shoreditch does Creative Mobile Fight Club. Silicon Valley folks have huge crowd booked for a ’special’ Apps World Mixer (Feb. 7th), Sydney kicks-off the new year with FlashMob! while Tokyo will welcome The Snake, with an great lineup, and Vancouver is ‘back’ for some Mobile Games action.
Peeking ahead to Feb. 11th, so far we see Detroit will dig into Changing the Face of Retail, Dublin runs an afternoon event dedicated to mhealth, with some impressive speakers secured there, while Dar-es-Salaam plans ICT & Agriculture topic on Tues. the 12th. A quick bookmark for Feb. 18th now with Jo’Burg, Nazareth and Singapore all gearing-up.. as usual, more updates here again next week. Finally, major props for the MoMo crew in Austin as their ‘un-official’ gig at SxSW next month already has like 1,500 people registered, good bet that will be a scene, which goes to show.. The.Mob.Rulz!
