MobileMonday's Tammisto Nominated for Innovator Awards

Judging by the number of activities going on concurrently around the globe, MobileMonday’s momentum seems to be speeding-up. Recently, MoMo’s global activities have caught the attention of the Finnish business community. Jari Tammisto, CEO of MobileMonday Oy, has been nominated for one of Finland’s business innovator awards, “Uudistajat 2007”. Taloussanomat, one of Finland’s leading business newspaper, is running the awards competition. Winners will be determined by online voting and is open to the general public.

Tammisto’s nomination is based on his work for the MobileMonday global organization, which has already spread to 57 cities worldwide.

Nominees for the awards come from all walks of Finnish business life—from small and large organizations, and from different industries. The nominees compete in three categories—Most influential catalyst Finnish economic discussion, Most Innovative large corporates, Most Innovative SMEs.

Online voting is available at Taloussanomat’s website, and will be in two rounds. The first round will select three finalists per category, and online voting will be open from 27 September to 7 October. The second round which will determine the winners will be open from 8 October to 12 October.
