The Agent Anything platform gives start-ups on-demand access to a talented and affordable student workforce for all the jobs that take up too much of your valuable time but that aren’t worth hiring a new employee for.

To give you some examples, since 2010, when launched in New York, they’ve hooked-up New York startups with:

Beta testers,
Market researchers,
Letter-droppers,
Data-enterers,
Graphic designers,
Couriers,
Street marketing teams,

and just about any other kind of temp worker you can think of!

Whenever you find that small tasks are taking your attention away from the core elements of your business, just Post a Mission describing what you want done and how much you want to pay a student to do it.

No internships, no long processes or forms – just describe the job, set the price, and pay by credit card once it’s done.

MoMo Adelaide – Oct. 15th – The Mighty Kingdom

MEGA
invites you to
Mobile Monday – October 2012
in Adelaide
at
The Seven Stars Hotel, Angas Street.

This month we invite you to hear from Philip Mayes of Mighty Kingdom, giving us an introduction to who they are and what they do; how they’re balancing client work and in-house development; and how they’re using both the i-store and android markets to sell their wares. Take a look at some of their recent apps and games!

About Mighty Kingdom:
The story starts…Long ago, in the year 2010 AD,darkness swept across the land. Countless software development studios were closing their great oaken doors for good, sending seasoned professionals out onto the cold, merciless streets. One such developer, was King Philip of House Mayes, who had just left the services of the game development studio Krome Studios to seek out new and exciting opportunities. He approached his old colleague and friend from their days fighting side by side at Midway Games (formerly Ratbag Games), Regent Jindou of house Lee, and verily said unto him, “Dude, we should totally start making awesome apps.” Raising his banner with rousing conviction, Jindou, who had become an expert in team management and expansion responded, “Cool,” and thus the development studio Mighty Kingdom rose triumphantly from the ashes…and so the story continues at this month’s MoMo…

About Philip:

AKA Philip-the-just (as in, just-checking-my-email) originates from New Zealand. Phil worked for one of the country’s largest IT providers before studying a Graduate Diploma in Game Development. He since took his Honed Blade of +1 Programming to Australia, where he worked at Midway Studios (previously the premiere game development studio Ratbag Games), where he met Regent Jindou of House Lee. When Midway crumbled, Phil went on to establish himself as a Senior Programmer in the Adelaide Krome Studios development team, working on many successful titles; such as several games in the Star Wars series and other movie-franchise games.

Frankie is a new collaborative media review tool developed by Cospective (formerly Rising Sun Research).  Running in a browser, Frankie enables you to review and discuss video media between multiple locations, with play controls, drawing tools and notes perfectly synchronised between all participants.  It requires no software installation and no plugins, and it takes care of the media hosting and transport.  It’s really easy to learn and fun to use.

Unlike many current web based video tools that rely on Flash and other plugins, Frankie is built around the latest HTML5 standard.  This makes it well suited to cross platform environments, including iOS and Android.

Frankie is aimed at the short-form video production market, of which television commercials (TVC) make up the largest component.  Although not yet officially released, it’s already in use by over a dozen paying customers – advertising agencies, production companies and post-production houses – across several countries.  The public launch of Frankie will take place within the next few weeks.
