MoMo Manchester – Nov. 11th – Augmented Reality Panel

After a hugely successful Demo Night hosted by BBC Future Media at MediaCity UK on July 15th, we are excited to announce our next MoMoMcr event – Mobile Money & Payments on the 9th of September.

On the panel we have mobile payment experts from Helixion, TransaXiom, Proxama, Penrillain & Apadmi with Tim Jefferson, Director of The Human Chain as the panel chair. Each panelist will deliver a short presentation on their company and their innovative mobile payment technology. The floor will then be opened for a Q&A session with the audience.

MoMo Manchester – July 15th – Demo Night Hosted by BBC

Mobile Monday Manchester is pleased to announce registration is now open for their next event – Demo Night on the 15th of July, hosted by BBC Future Media at MediaCity UK.

If your not familiar with the demo night format, it looks like this. A number of exhibitors have exactly 3 minutes each to speak about their mobile product, project, idea or technology, followed by a 2 minute Q&A session with the audience.

You may have an up and running mobile product, an innovative idea or be a large or small business – there are no specific requirements in order to qualify for a demo spot. Its a great way to gain relevant exposure, network amongst industry experts and mobile enthusiasts and showcase what’s great about what you’ve chosen to demo!

Free refreshments & nibbles will be provided.

Tickets for the event, which as always are free, can be found on Eventbrite for both exhibitors and general attendance. Exhibitors must fill out an application, which can also be found by clicking here – MoMoMcr Exhibitor Form and sent to hannahp@apadmi.com. Applications close a week before the event on the 7th of July.

Tickets for general attendance will close on the day.

Claire Valoti is the MD for O2 Media. Previous to this role, Claire was the Head of Digital Display and Mobile at Mindshare and was co-chair at the Mobile Marketing Association.

Rob Weatherhead Head of Digital Operations for MediaCom, Rob oversees the delivery of digital campaigns for some of the country’s leading brands. His role spans all elements of the digital space and he is charged with delivering cross channel strategies for MediaCom’s clients.

Louise Evans has 8 years experience in digital and joined Yahoo! recently from the corporate client world of Unilever, where she was working in Global Brand Management for the Laundry category. She started her career agency side at OMD back in 2005, where she was planning & buying digital media for leading brands such as Peugeot, Sony and McDonalds. Today she is responsible for delivering the sales strategy for Yahoo.

Tom Cull sits on the Board at Carat Manchester and holds responsibility for the agency’s search & social products. Having built the department over the last few years to their now 55+ PPC, SEO and Social experts, Tom focuses his time on working with key clients on their strategic development, developing the agency’s digital products and working to develop talent within the teams to ensure continued results for their clients.
