MoMo Silicon Valley – Feb. 20th – MoMo Labs Debut

Mobile Monday Silicon Valley is one of the largest mobile industry user groups in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 1999, MoMo has been bringing together mobile enthusiasts for education and networking events. With the fantastic growth of the industry, a significant portion of the more than 6,500 MoMo SV members have backgrounds in non-technical fields, such as business, marketing, finance and legal.

While we recognize that all these people with their varied experiences and insights are important for the ecosystem to function, we would like to be able to foster the developer ecosystem as well. This is why we are launching a monthly series of developer-exclusive events known as MoMo Labs.

These will be smaller events that are limited to 50 mobile developers where they will be able to learn about and interact with companies that provide developer solutions.

This first edition of Labs will be centered around mobile payment solutions, Juniper Research is forecasting that global mobile payments will generate transactions worth over $600 billion by 2013.

So come learn and explore the different ways you can implement mobile payments, and get some of that gigantic pile of money!

If you’re not a developer, don’t come; you’ll be bored out of your mind as this is a hands-on coding experience. Register Here

Schedule:
600-630         Networking and Mingling
630-730         Lightening pitches (max 15 min) by each developer solution company (max of 4 per event)
730-900         Each company will be allocated a booth for developers to come up and ask more individual questions and receive hands-on engineering support for the API/SDK/framework

Participating Companies:
1.     PayPal
2.     Boku
3.     Billing Revolution
