MoMo Singapore – May 6th – Rise and Fall and Rise of the Operators!

An illustrious panel has been set the challenging topic of discerning whether or not the Operator (as we know them) is dead!

Much like the Roman Empire of lore, despite some well reported up’s and down’s the Operators have long held sway in the tumultuous Mobile World we all inhabit. But, with a host of OTT providers snapping at their heels and WiFi disruption high on the list of must-have’s for every major city, that World has changed beyond recognition.

Our panel of industry leaders will ponder selected questions and offer their views on this brave New World. Is the Empire striking back?

Moderator: Colin Miles, Chairman, MEF Asia

Panelists:
* Mr Mock Pak Lum, CTO, Starhub (Confirmed)
* Mr Johan Buse, CMO, Singtel (Invited)
* M1 speaker: (Invited)

Be there – PLUS don’t fiddle while Rome burns – Get your burning questions selected in advance! Post your questions for the panel in advance here in the conversation on the MoMo Singapore website.

MoMo Singapore – Feb. 18th – Mobile crApps

Are you delivering quality mobile application experiences to maximize business results or are you rolling the dice with your customer loyalty?

Mobile has reached critical mass. Exploding smartphone sales and faster networks are driving the mobile boom and have changed end users’ mobile experience expectations.

According to Equation Research:

  • 47 percent of mobile users encountered a problem when accessing an application on their phones. Slow load time was the number one issue, closely followed by applications that crashed, froze or displayed an error
  • 71 percent of mobile web users expect web-site performance on their mobile phones to be equal to, or better than, what they experience on their desktops — up from 58 percent in 2009.

Join us on 18-February at 6:30pm for a presentation from Compuware where we review some of Singapore’s worst offenders in delivering poor app experiences. After that, we’ll see how some of Singapore’s app development leaders and innovators measure their mobile-site and native application performance from the end users’ perspective to resolve mobile web-site and native application performance issues to maximize mobile business results.

Complimentary snacks and drinks will be served. The evening’s event is sponsored by Compuware.
