The evolution of 2D Barcodes in the Mobile World

Asia has been a nurturing ground for pop-culture consumer trends worldwide and there has been a steady decline of desktop sales as mobile phones add services on advanced 3G networks. The 2D barcode influences the way people access information from physical objects. Various airlines around the world are beginning to be using paperless boarding passes with 2D barcodes. The 2D barcode issued to air travelers is being used to verify passengers prior to boarding the plane.

The next MobileMonday Singapore will feature global 2D Barcode experts from the US and Japan. We will have speakers from Scanbuy, Mr M. Didier Frantz, Managing Director, Scanbuy China and Mr Lawrence Cosh-Ishii, founding partner of Wireless Watch Japan.

Date: 28 Jul 2008 Time: 6.30pm - 9pm Venue: Geek Terminal

Didier Frantz is a co-founder of Scanbuy where he has been serving for over 6 years as COO and CFO while developing and managing key partnerships and customer relationships.
