Mobile Monday Ukraine Demo Night on July 16

The Mobile Monday Demo Night event on July 16 gathered more than 100 representatives of the leading companies.

Demo Night was opened by Sirous Kavehercy, Market Development Director of Acision, among whose customers are more than 300 companies serving over billion subscribers including such companies as Orange/FT, 3 (Hutchison 3G), МТS and Telefonica. In his presentation Sirous spoke about peculiarities of mobile instant messaging, the next generation SMS (SMS 3.0) as well as about mobile internet which is positioned by the company as a next big thing in telecom and a new way of getting revenue for operators.

Julia Sivenok, Deputy Director of Point Com, continued the event with the presentation «WAP portals: turn hobby into a big business». Point Com, the leading content aggregator, the developer of telecom solutions and services for mobile subscribers, is the first company that launched content services in Ukraine (java games, wap services, MMS etc.). In her presentation Julia revealed statistics of WAP traffic, told about the most popular company's products (such as portals wap.450.ua, wap.fishka.ua, WAP portals for famous brands ) as well as WAP services which will generate the most traffic. According to the company experts these are search, e-mail, mobile advertising, user-generated content, community portals and convergence.

Natalia Kharisova, Head of sales group in CIS from RIA Novosti, which is a reliable and professional source of on-line information about political, socio-economic and cultural life of Russia and the world, continued the set of presentations after the coffee break. Natalia's presentation was dedicated to informational products of the Agency for mobile phone users which is one of the most perspective company's directions of activity. Among such services are alerts, questionnaires, various quizzes of different levels, photo services, news services, the so called mobile reporter, video/audio podcasts, info graphics (reconstruction of events in a graphic way) as well as new multimedia developments.

Sergey Prysiazhnyi, Founder of ATMNIS, ended the official part of the event with the presentation «Mobile technologies for optimization of work of small and medium size enterprises». His company is engaged in the development of author software and carries out research in IT-solutions area for already a year and a half. In his presentation Sergey told about one of the business solutions developed by the company - BBOX, which is based on complex model of data transfer and can be used as a corporate server. The given solution can be applied in various areas and provides cost reduction, efficiency of the received data and accuracy of accounting systems, centralized data storage and reliability of the system.
