Frank Rayal is a telecom industry professional with over 20 years of experience working with wireless network operators and system vendors. Frank is a founding member of backhaul pioneer and Fiercewireless top 15 wireless startup winner BLiNQ Networks where in his role as VP of Marketing & Product Management he defined innovative small cell backhaul systems. He’s also a founding partner at Telesystem Innovations (TSI) a telecom management advisory company specialized in technology strategy and market analytic services. Frank held senior product management, marketing and business development positions at Redline, Metawave and Ericsson where he launched innovative wireless infrastructure solutions including compact base stations, beamforming systems and network management software.
Frank advises wireless operators, venture capital and private equity firms, semiconductor and telecom equipment vendors on commercial, technical and marketing strategies related to 4G wireless networks including product & technology strategy, spectrum valuation and acquisition, operator and product business case development, financial modeling, technology evaluation/development, vendor selection, and market research. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering (High Honors) from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, and a MSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Toronto, Canada. Frank is a Senior Member of the IEEE, and a member of Professional Engineers Ontario. |
