Megan currently works at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as a Program Financial Manager in the Financial Services for the Poor group. The group is currently working on developing technology-based solutions (mainly through mobile money) to deliver financial services to the poor, mainly in Africa and Southeast Asia. Megan’s role in the group is to work on business plans and budgets for potential grants and investments to mobile money providers. Prior to working at the Gates Foundation, she worked in the hedge fund and real estate development industries. She holds a BA, an MA, and an MBA all from the University of Pennsylvania.
