Fake recall notice may affect Nokia in Australia
A fake press release has been sent to journalists in Australia, claiming that two Nokia phones are to be recalled due to problems with reception.
The release was sent by fax, which will have limited the number of companies that received it, and so far no media organisation appears to have run the false story. Nokia's lawyers in Australia are investigating the matter and the federal police and the Press Council have sent out warnings.
