OMA v2 DRM interoperability LG chooses Beep Science DRM
Beep Science, a provider of mobile Digital Rights Management software, will provide its DRM solution to Korean LG Electronics. LG has chosen Beep Science to assure the OMA v2 DRM interoperability of the LG mobile devices.
Norway-based Beep Science says that it is the only DRM software vendor participated in all the OMA Test Fests. The Beep Science DRM products supports OMA v1 DRM and OMA v2 DRM industry standards, and are being used by several device manufacturers and mobile operators.
“The commitment from leading handset manufacturers as LG Electronics to the OMA DRM standard is paving the way for a DRM enabled digital content ecosystem across mobile phones, PC and other consumer electronics”, says Markku Mehtala, VP Business Development at Beep Science.
The Beep Science DRM product portfolio includes DRM Server and DRM Agent software.
