Two new MobileMonday cities MobileMonday arrives at Rome and Rio de Janeiro

The first ever Mobile Monday in Rome will take place on November 8. Organized by the good folks of HP Mobile Bazaar the Rome event features mobile music. Mr. Bazaar Peter Vesterbacka is hosting the first Rio de Janeiro event on the same date.

The event will be moderated by Mr. Eugenio Occorsio, IT journalist from La Repubblica. Key players like device manufacturers, mobile network operators and content providers will give their views on mobile music and on how to make business out of it.

The program include a HP Bazaar presenting the concept of Mobile Monday and mobile music; visionary keynotes starting with an introduction from a mobile operator and presentation from Pietro De Nardis, Country Manager Italia, Buongiorno Vitaminic; Henning Reich: "Music Launch with O2", Product Manager for SX1, Siemens and a brief panel discussion and audience questions.

The venue for the Rome MobileMonday, starting at 6:30 pm, is Café Renault at Via Nazionale 183/b in the heart of Rome.

Vesterbacka and Paananen in Rio

On the same day Mr. Mobile Bazaar, Peter Vesterbacka, is hosting another first, the first MobileMonday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Vesterbacka will introduce the MobileMonday concept, and talk a little about HP Bazaar and building a successful mobile ecosystem. Vesku Paananen, the founder of Mobile Monday and CTO of Add2Phone will talk about Java enabled mobile marketing, and Ariel Sandez from NETikos will present the concept of Mobile Payments.

The location of the Rio event, starting at 6 pm, is Papillon, at Hotel Intercontinental Rio.
