Seven MobileMondays in November MobileMonday starts in London
The inaugural MobileMonday event on November 7 in London seems to be a success even before Monday. The interest for the event, taking place at Vodafone’s, has been so high that the registration had to close early.
Jari Tammisto, CEO of Mobile Monday Oy, will be attending the London Monday. Jari has been in touch with Daniel Appelquist of Vodafone and other organizers supporting the event.
The word about the event has been spread in several blogs, among them the blogs by ex-Nokia user interface guru Christian Lindholm and Russ Beattie of San Francisco area MobileMonday. Both are planning to attend the London event and both, incidentally, work for Yahoo!.
On the same day Singapore is having its second MobileMonday meeting at Harry’s Bar and Italian MobileMonday is celebrating it one-year anniversary in CafĂ© Renault in Rome.
Altogether there are seven MobileMonday event scheduled for November. In addition to the one mentioned above Momos are taking place in Helsinki; Austin, TX; Mountain View, CA and Tokyo.
