Absolute unveils Computrace Mobile New protection for Windows Mobile devices
Newbury, Mass.-based Absolute Software, a provider of computer theft recovery, data protection and asset tracking solutions, has launched Computrace Mobile.
The application is based on the Computrace desktop and laptop management solution from Absolute. According to the company press release Computrace Mobile is the only solution on the market for the management of all remote computers and handhelds owned by an organisation. It is supported on all Windows Mobile 5 and 6 handheld devices including popular models like the MOTO Q, Treo 750 and Samsung BlackJack.
Computrace Mobile enables organisations to delete sensitive information held on lost or stolen devices and reduce costs associated with managing mobile devices and users.
