GSM Association Awards Nokia 8800 valued as the best GSM phone
The winners of the 2006 GSM Association Awards were announced the second night of the Conference Gala Evening at Barcelona’s National Palace.
This is eleventh year of the Awards, and the first Gala presentation evening to be held in the Spanish city, new home to the 3GSM World Congress.
“This year’s Awards reflect the diversity, the vitality and the changing dynamics of our industry as the content and communications worlds converge. We are at the beginning of a new era of multimedia, entertainment, music, gaming and TV, in which GSM plays a starring role. Our congratulations to the winners and our thanks to everyone who participated.” said Rob Conway, CEO of the GSM Association.
