North African website localized Nokia 9500 Communicator learns Arabic
Nokia has announced the Arabic-enabled Nokia 9500 Communicator. Sheikh Ali Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Bahrain Minister of Communications, unveiled the phone at the Nokia stand of the recent Telecom Arabiya 2005 exhibition and conference.
“For us, ‘connecting people’ means more than just a commitment to develop the best phones for work and life; it means providing the language interfaces that enhances the Arabic user’s experience with these powerful devices,” commented Eddie Maalouf, general manager, Nokia MENA.
In addition to the 9500 Communicator’s Arabic interface option, Nokia’s Middle East and North Africa website (www.nokiamena.com) can also be accessed in Arabic, as well as in English and French.
