Supports Nokia 6630, 6680, N70 and N90 Plenware and Bluegiga release a mobile VoIP solution

Plenware and Bluegiga are announcet Monday a joint mobile VoIP solution for standardized interfaces and Nokia’s smart phone models 6630, 6680, N70 and N90. Plenware’s VoIP solution and Bluegiga’s WRAP Access Server allow businesses and service providers to set up the secure and wireless VoIP solution.

The terminal equipment application developed by Plenware supports the most commonly used VoIP de facto standards; the SIP protocol and the G.711 voice codec. The application is compatible with nearly any phone system supporting the SIP protocol. The use of the application is simple and the user can make VoIP calls using the phone book in their own phone.

The Plenware PleNet product family consists of VoIP PBX software, an operation and maintenance application, a switchboard, an application for the end user including embedded soft phone, and now a Symbian-based VoIP phone application suited for a wide range of terminal equipments as well.

Bluegiga’s WRAP Access Server enables the deployment of Bluetooth connectivity as a new virtue in already existing networks without network reconfiguration. It is equipped with the multiradio feature is the first network device that combines multiple Bluetooth radios with Wi-Fi, GSM data, GPRS, and Ethernet connectivity in one integrated form factor.
