A path to rapid network expansion Redline announces subsriber WiMAX unit
Toronto-based Redline Communications, a provider of standards-based wireless broadband equipment, has introduced the RedMAX Indoor Subscriber Unit (SU-I), the latest addition to its RedMAX family of WiMAX products.
The user-installable RedMAX SU-I will enable software upgrades to new WiMAX technologies, enabling carriers to quickly establish their networks and evolve with the WiMAX ecosystem.
Commercially available in the second half of 2006, the RedMAX SU-I is the latest component of Redline´s RedPATH architecture roadmap, a three-phase WiMAX product and network evolution strategy that will accelerate carriers´ WiMAX network and revenue growth.
“Carriers considering large scale roll outs now have a self-install service application which will eliminate the need for truck rolls, and ultimately enhance the business case,” said Keith Doucet, Vice President, Product Management, Redline Communications
