Mysterious partner to be revealed at launch Sendandsee to form a joint venture in Russia
Mobile publishing technology developer Sendandsee has executed a joint venture agreement with an established Russian mobile market player about the formation of a Russian corporation that will focus on the mobilization of different types of digital media in that market.
The new company will become operational during Q1 of 2006 and it will utilize and capitalize on existing business relationships of the local founding party.
Moscow-based joint venture has plans to access 20 million mobile consumers.
During the last few years Sendandsee has been actively involved in various partnership discussions regarding an entry into the Russian mobile market but had not established a direct presence in that market before the execution of this joint venture agreement.
“The Russian mobile market grows at an amazing pace. Therefore we have been patiently looking for a partner who would be an established player in that market and would enable a fast and effective market entry for services and products based on our mobiprint technology,” says Jorma Kario, Sendandsee’s COO and Founder.
“Our partner, who will be named in conjunction with the launch of the Russian operation is a well connected market player, enabling us a fast market entry.”
Sendandsee’s intention is to develop a wide range of services based on its mobiprint technology that will then be introduced to pre-selected user groups. Another focus area will be the mobilization of existing digital media assets, local newspapers, magazines, and TV channels.
