An independent Finnish mobile game developer Universomo Ltd will be mobilizing games of Sega of America.

Right at the moment Universomo has two Sega titles in development for the publisher. The games are to be published and released in the Spring 2007.

In addition of the game design and development Universomo takes care of the porting of both games as well.

“Besides opening of our US branch, the deal with SEGA is definitely one of the main Universomo highlights of 2007,” said Atte Kotiranta, Managing Director of Universomo USA.

“Working with Universomo has been a pure pleasure. These guys are very professional and skilled mobile developers. Universomo really understands Sega products and have been excellent in keeping to original designs while also adding their own spin and taking our well known brands to a new level of quality,” said Glenn Wissner, Senior Producer for Sega of America

Sega of America, Inc. is the American Publishing arm of Tokyo, Japan-based Sega Corporation. In 2006 Universomo produced 17 mobile games. Universomo opened a studio in Los Angeles last fall.
