About me

I’m a professional senior manager within the international telecom and internet industry. I hold strong sales & marketing background with P&L responsibility, a unique ability to transform strategy to efficient and fast execution. With more than 10 years of extensive experience at senior level of listed companies, I have used my skills to build solid businesses in more than 9 European countries.

I joined Monster Worldwide as Sales Director Northern Europe in September 2006 after serving as Managing Director Sales & Marketing at Tiscali. After reorganizing the commercial activities of Monster in Northern Europe and the launch of a new e-business strategy I was able to grow the revenue with more than 60% and the profitable margin to more than 40%.

I have experiences on board level development at senior management and CEO level within corporate enterprises and retail organizations. Besides B2B and retail experience I’m also holding a strong knowledge of the residential market as well as e- business solutions.

At Tiscali, Rob first build and led very stainable business to business wholesale internet revenue with growth rates in excess of 100%. Under the management of Rob the wholesale brand BabyXl and the residential brand 12move in the Netherlands where successfully rebranded to Tiscali in 2002 and 2005. As part of the “Full Service ISP” strategy Rob launched successfully VOIP in the Netherlands mid 2004.

In addition to Tiscali, Rob has held various executive sales positions with KPNQwest, Global Crossing and Dutchtone. At Dutchtone (France Telecom) Rob was one of the leading persons during the commercial market introduction in February 1999.
