Yeppies.. the Happy Bot road warriors are booked out of Malaysia – a great GoMobile gathering – and now focused, as always, on the upcoming CommunicAsia gig in Singapore. With all the action around APAC region in this space there’s is certainly plenty of buzz, in the conference rooms, on the show floor and naturally around town with visiting delegates, at these events. It’s our great pleasure to Bring the Community Together, since Y2K, more so than ever it’s very clear to all incumbents just how critically important tapping talented developers have become within this ecosystem. We managed to cobble together the quick round-up below, a cool dozen events running tonight around the world, in transit here in the awesome T3 at Changi airport = looking forward to return again soon.. 😎
Ready to rumble on May 14th: Ahmedabad has HTML5 Magic plan while Beijing does an International Entrepreneurship theme and Chicago digs into How To Protect and Use IP. Detroit will try Handling the Mobile Mob (easier said than done!) and Dublin is Going Mobile with Google while Dusseldorf sees Mobile in the Cloud. The Kamapala crew has a super Startup Showcase at Victoria University, Madison does Best Practices for Mobile Strategies and New York joins Flurry at TechHub (on May 17). Paris is also running HTML5 theme for their #56 event, Ottawa plays host to Alec Saunders from RIM and Sao Paulo will feature Mobile Health in Brazil.
As for week of May 21st – so far we see: Denver with Top Secret details not yet posted, Lansing has
Best Practices For Creating Mobile Ads and say Hello Lusaka – on their debut – for Mobile in Zambia. Richmond is focused on the ‘droid while newcomer Split also holds their first meetup in Croatia and Vienna does MobileMonday meets University with a super group on-stage for that one.
