Mobile Monday event was held on 3rd June 2013 at CIIT Islamabad Campus. The topic of discussion for this month’s event was Mobile Application Development. Mr. Syed Yasir Imtiaz from CAST department presented the applications currently being made by his research group at CAST department. The application ideas included the areas related to location based services like friend finder, Restaurant finder and Medicine finder with some innovative additions in respect to the users of Pakistan. MoMo Islamabad – Feb. 7th – DWP Technologies

Mobile Monday event was held on 4th February’ 2013 and about 50 participants attended this event. Mr. Yousuf from CAST department started the proceedings by giving an introduction and background of Mobile Monday. Our guest speaker for the event was Mr. Murad Khan, Senior Network Engineer from DWP technologies. The topic of discussion was concept of MPLS, its features, benefits and main architecture components. Later on he answered the queries from different students and also discussed the opportunities of internships for COMSATS students. The event concluded with the vote of thanks from Mr. Khurram Saleem Alamgeer.

MoMo Islamabad – Dec. 3rd – Welcome Huawei

Mobile Monday event was held on 3rd December 2012, at CIIT Islamabad campus. About 100 participants attended this event. Mr. Faisal Ameer Malik CTO and his team of experts from Huawei came to the event. Mr. Tariq Mahmood, Product Manager of Huawei, gave presentation on GPON network.
