We’re nearing the end of the year, boys and girls! The MoMo Manila team has decided to take a Christmas break this December. But before we do, let’s all celebrate Christmas a bit early and look back on the great first half we’ve had!

So we are inviting you to our Christmas party on November 28, 2011. We’ll be back at the German Club with no other agenda but to have fun. We’ll be giving a short rundown on what we as a community have achieved in 2011. We’re inviting back our first Mobile Bayani awardees to hand them their trophies. We’ll have games and prizes. Of course, we still have free beer and food to go around!

The 1st Mobile Bayani Awards aim to acknowledge the three Filipino individuals, companies or non-profit organizations that made an indelible footprint in our local mobile space.  These are the heroes who have made the most impact on the local mobile scene.  Some may never have even been properly recognized for their contributions. From now until August 12, 2011, MobileMonday Manila will be accepting nominations for the 1st Mobile Bayani Awards.  Anyone may nominate an individual, company or non-profit organization as a Mobile Bayani. Winners will be awarded at the Aug. 15th Aug. 22nd MoMo Manila meeting.

It’s July folks!  Finally the wet season is here!  There’s a mighty good chance that there’ll be rain during this month’s Mobile Monday meeting.  But hopefully rain on our meeting means wealth that is coming!
