9/27 Event: New-York Based App Demos

Posted on: September 3, 2010 – Filed under: Brooklyn

Mobile Monday New York is back on September 27th to kick off Advertising Week in NYC. This month we will feature a series of demos from a group of established local app developers, and a group of up-and-comings. We will start with demos of hot new apps from 6 established NY-based app developers, followed by four demos from the finalists of the NYC Geo/Mobile Hack Day. These are the 4 top apps developed in a weekend of hacking at NYC Geo/Mobile Hack Day. Following these demos, the audience will vote live for the best one of the top four; winner takes home $1,000.

This event is possible thanks to generous sponsorships from Nokia, NAVTEQ and GetJar.

Demo Lineup:
SuperGlued- A community where users can share and discuss live music experiences.
Philo- Social TV app that lets users connect with friends and watch, chat, score points, and win awards and credits together.
