November brings the joy of Australia’s ultimate racing event, The Melbourne Cup as well as the first rays of summer sunshine. So, in honor of this favorite Aussie summer racing past time, we have lined up some ribbon taking mobile speakers who will trot in with some great learnings around mobile application development and what it takes to be a mobile industry winning solution!

Kate Cass from Scan2List will be giving us a sneak preview of their exciting new mobile application that greatly simplifies the way people do shopping at home by using their mobile to scan barcodes of products and create a shopping list. Scan2List will be launching in Australia before Christmas.

TAB Sportsbet for iPhone

Mike Boyd, managing Director of Appcast will guide us through the development of their mobile application for the TAB so that all the happy punters can place their bets for the Melbourne Cup via their mobile.
