Is there a future for Mobile Cloud Computing Applications?
Posted on: November 8, 2009 – Filed under: Singapore

How will the mobile cloud evolve and what pressures will future applications put on existing Business Support Systems? One thing we can be sure of is that most of today’s traditional billing products will have to change to adapt to business realities.
The real challenges in cloud billing are:Ownership: Who owns the business model – the operator? The application vendor? Both? Disparate objectives: There are multiple relationships to manage, spanning operators, application vendors, end users, resellers, advertisers; and a combination. Unknown unknowns: As new business models emerge rapidly, the future will present those we haven’t even conceptualised yet. Accountability: A growing need for the tighter management of service entitlement.
The talk will demonstrate why Dynamic Business Modelling will allow Mobile Cloud Computing Applications to flourish.
