As location is available on almost every smartphone and at the same time can be easily integrated on any app, the logical extension of mobile commerce will be Location Commerce: providing services, content, applications, and goods based on a user’s location.
At the next Mobile Monday, we’ll examine the current state of products and services that facilitate location-based commerce. Our speakers will tell us success stories and describe how location-based services are being used and implemented.
