“Mobile Security: 0wned by MoMo” – We start our 3rd season on 7th of September in Tartu Ülikooli Kohvik at 18:00

Mobile Monday Estonia alustab oma kolmandat hooaga avaüritusega Tartus, 7. septembril, Ülikooli kohvikus, kell 18:00. Avaürituse teemaks on “Mobile Security: 0wned by MoMo”. Viimastel aastatel on küberturva teemad olnud kõrgendatud tähelepanu all. Seda ka põhjusega: me oleme üle elanud esimese kübersõja, enamus mida me teeme küberilmas on salvestatud mõnes andmebaasis ning vahel ka avalikult kättesaadav. Kuna Mobile Monday temaatiline fookus asub mobiilisektoril, siis käsitleme me privaatsuse ja turvalisuse teemat just mobiilitööstuse vaatenurgast.

But the well-known hindrances of the German mobile business – namely handset fragmentation and suffocating operator policies – prevented LBS to ever take off. As in many other applications of the Mobile Internet, it took outside players to change the game. GPS-based location finding is not only more convenient …
