Heads-Up, our next MoMo Tokyo event is July 24 – Yep, it’s a Friday – out at Tokyo Big Sight during the Wireless Japan conference and trade show. Well, we had again a full house, a very nice location and great sessions. You can view some great pictures form the event in the MoMoTLV June 2009 event gallery, and you can find the events’ PPTs in MoMoTLV’s slideshare. It’s been great year for MoMoTLV, we held 10 event in 10 different topics, where we brought you around 40 speakers from Israel and abroad. Our community has grown in a single year to 800 members and still growing up every month.
This spring’s last event brought us to Tallinn and dispite the wonderful 27+ weather outside we had a great event. Thank You all for making it happen and special thanks to our event sponsor Skype.This was the first time for us to battle a very complex topic: Mobile Voice over IP. We had all the key players present: Skype (VoIP service provider), EMT (operator), and Ericsson (network vendor). This resulted in hugely interesting discussions. The main result, as the answer on our panel discussion topic: operators can love VoIP. More generally the event revealed more of the possible future scenarios …
