Mobile Monday Global Events for Week of March 12th – 2012

No wonder he ‘Couldn’t Stand the Weather’.. it was raining and chilly on landing here, a slight shock from our tropical island get-away after MWC last week, but the annual buzz is in the air, and on the streets, as seems it will warm-up here in the coming days. Just in time for our so-called ‘un-official’ SxSW mega-mixer gig here in Austin, with over 500 registered it will certainly be a blast. Those who know this show.. will def. know we have little time for tapping keys when All the Action is Outside – so here’s a quicky round-up below before we hit the scene.
MoMo events running March 12th; the Beijing team does Post MWC Report, great lineup on-tap there, for those who could not attend while Berlin has Drivers of the Mobile Ecosystem. Detroit gets smart with Mobile Education, Italy bounces back in Bologna with their first MoMo event in ages, Madison is at Network 222 and Manchester will also bring home post MWC report for the locals. Montreal is on with a Mobile Health theme while DigiBC welcomes AirG folks to center stage at MoMo Vancouver.
Peeking ahead to next week, 19th March, we see Chicago with Nokia CES ReDux while Cleveland has iOS Security Tips and London runs a Nook Tablet Dev. Workshop. Munich is all about FaceBook and HTML5, Paris also does Post MWC Report, while Sydney welcomes Google for Monetising Mobile Apps. Vienna gathers for Smart Home Connected Devices, Washington will have Mobile Education topic, hosted at Microsoft, for 03.19 while Zurich does Hybrid vs. Native Apps at HP in Dübendorf.
Also note this is the first week, after Five in a Row, that we do not have a new chapter location debut. However.. Thrilled to advise that March 19th will also see the launch of MoMo Guangzhou! A Really Super crew in place there so look forward to more great events happening in the middle kingdom.
