This month we invite you to hear from Derek Munneke and the team from new company NextFaze.

With a long history in the mobile space Derek has seen the rise and rise of mobile phones, and the various uptake rates of applications.  This month he and the team be talking about the current state of play in mobile augmented reality, including ”terminator style” heads up augmentation, and “minority report” 3d object augmentation.

About NextFaze
NextFaze has just started up, made up of six experienced mobile application developers with experience across a broad range of mobile apps and technologies, in particular iphone and ipad development, android and rich mobile HTML5, but including blackberry and windows phone. The team has worked with well known brands like Toyota, Coke, Shangri-La and Network Ten; local institutions and brands like University of Adelaide, Womadelaide, Credit Union Christmas Pageant and Coopers Brewery; as well startup and emerging technology like Chronica, Jungle Drums, StatsAmazing, and Guvera.
