MoMo Labs in Boston – 8th Anniversary in Tokyo – Where to Go from Here!
We’re baaaack.. getting into the groove with fall season action cranking into gear. It was Super to see huge respond, mostly in Arabic, via Twitter on our Riyadh debut Sept. 3rd – congrats to the new team there.. well-done! Also, many smiles for the Tokyo tribes as they mark Eight Years of MoMo in Japan and quick hat-tip for @Axel who managed to make some 200 new Friends here over the last week.. 😎
Events round-up for Sept. 10th; starting in Berlin with Mobile and Social – Where Do We Go from Here, as noted Boston fires up MoMo Labs dedicated to Mobile Design, Detroit has Mobile Security theme, Instanbul welcomes FourSquare and Fjord, Manchester digs into Location on Mobile and Melbourne is ‘on’ for an Augmented Reality Update. Montreal has a Mobile Video line-up, Tel Aviv rocks back to back with How to Fund Your Cool App tonite and continues to Jerusalem on Tues. 11th for Startups Showcase, thanks to App Campus and JVP. Full props to MoMo Seoul for organizing Mobile Marketing and Advertising Conference, Tokyo celebrates big 8th Birthday with (frozen?) Beer Garden Matsuri and Washington will be focused on Engaging Customers Through Mobile with great panel on stage there.
Looking to week of Sept. 17th, so far, we have Beijing hosting the Great China French Tech Tour, Brisbane will cover Mobile Metrics that Matter and Cape Town plans a Mobile Marketing Showcase, sponsored by InMobi, as part of Creative Week. Chicago will run their annual Mobile Pitch Challenge event, nooo they’re not throwing phones like in Finland, MoMo Cleveland will gather on topic TBD and Denver is also on-tap with agenda not yet released. The new crew in Edmonton gets underway with a Devs Panel and Digital Alberta Mixer while Hamburg joins mLove for the Reeperbahn Festival (on Sept. 20th) and London kicks-off their Mobile Academy co-op with University College London on Tues. 18th as Silicon Valley Goes Beyond the Download with gathering at the Hyatt. We count 22 gigs over the next 10 nights (w00t) and will add updates here for anything else we may have missed.
