With the cumulative global mobile app marketplace set to exceed $30 billion in revenues in 2012, MXMevents and Mobile Monday NY announce their first mobile music event: AppLause: Live Mobile Music
This one-of-a-kind “Battle of the Music Apps” event will be held at the legendary Limelight Marketplace (656 6th Ave, New York, New York (use the 20th street entrance) on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 (12.12.12) from 6:30~9:00pm (doors open at 6:00 pm)
AppLause will spotlight some of the best app developers from the music space who will compete for prizes, as judged by a carefully selected panel of industry experts. Each developer receives 5 minutes to present their app, focusing on three core considerations: 1) what it does 2) why it’s great 3) the results.
The panel of judges then asks questions, solicits AppLause from the audience – including heavy representation by media and the mobile, developer and tech communities – and votes on the winner.
