More about the speakers
Kate Imbach is the co-founder and organizer of MoMo Boston and she also organizes the MoMo Silicon Valley activities these days. She is the Director of Marketing and Developer Programs at Skyhook Wireless. Kate has previously worked at VeriSign and has a Masters in Public Administration from Sawyer School of Management
Dr. Madanmohan Rao is the Director of Research at MobileMonday Oy and has recently been heading the Africa research project. It has now been granted support from the World Bank to an 18 month program to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in the African continent. Madan is a frequent speaker on the international conference circuit, and has given talks and lectures in about 50 countries around the world.
Bent Flyen was one of the developers pioneering widget development at Opera Software in early 2000. He now heads the mobile development at Trafikanten – The Norwegian Public Transport Information Agency. There he works on complex software deliveries, with processes spanning several locations and time zones, delivering real time information on mobile phones and to distributed locations.
Tommy Ahlers is a Danish serial entrepreneur best known for the social networking and mobile backup site ZYB, launched in 2005 and sold to Vodafone Europe BV for nearly $50m in May 2008. Before founding ZYB, where he has held the position of CEO since the company’s inception, Ahlers spent six years in strategy and management, partly in the mobile industry. Tommy is now working for Vodafone as Head of Location Based Services and is CEO of Wayfinder in Sweden, also recently acquired by Vodafone.
Christian Hage is the founder and Director of Euman A/S, a software company working with data management for time and location based services within security, fleet management, workforce management, wellness and digital experience. Before founding Euman, Christian worked for more than ten years as a consultant helping companies become more efficient by using cutting edge IT technology.
