MoMo #5 – 15 June; 6:30pm ~ 8pm

Next monday will have our fifth meeting and for the first time its not the first month monday, due to Mobile Monday Amsterdam #11, that was on the same date and we’re attending. It was a memorable event and congratulations to our Amsterdam friends. I’ll get into more details if you would like at our meeting.

– 18h45 – A view on mobile marketing by João Fernandes

A graduation in Management and an absolute crush on technology took João Fernandes to the telecom world, where he spent 8 years (Maxitel and TMN) developing and managing mostly data and content services, like i9, Internet no Telemóvel, TMN Backup, and many others. Left TMN with a mission – to transform technology into usable marketing and advertising solutions. 2 years gone by, he’s co-founder and partner of monday, interactive marketing (full service interactive agency), partner of Trillium Interactive (online media agency) and is presently focused in myAdLab, a startup created by monday and SendIt (company dedicated to mobile strategic consultancy and implementation) to develop and explore a global mobile marketing platform.

– 19h15 – Mobile Games: A Practical (Business) Approach by Tiago Loureiro

Tiago Loureiro is an IT expert and entrepreneur currently dedicating his work time to videogame development. With an academic background in Computer Engineering and past experience in team management, decision support systems, legacy code maintenance and application development Tiago is aiming to be a strong player among the world’s top game development producers. When not struggling for world domination, Tiago enjoys fencing and playing pen & paper role playing games.
