CScout Visits Mobile Monday Brooklyn in Manhattan

Last night CScout attended Mobile Monday Brooklyn, a monthly meet-up for mobile industry professionals. This month’s theme was New York-based apps, and six companies were invited to demo their products. Location-based services were (not surprisingly) very popular, such as UpNext’s 3D maps and Roadify’s new app, which connects people with real-time commuting information. Community-building apps also dominated, like SuperGlued’s community built around concert-going, and Venmo, which allows friends to exchange money through text. Via: CScout
