Bruno is the Founder & Partner of Shanghaivest, which he started in Shanghai in 2008, focusing on fundraising and strategic consulting services to early-stage technology start-ups in China. In 2006 he founded the Shanghai chapter of MobileMonday, which has since become a landmark series of events for mobile and online professionals in China, attracting more than 3,000 members in its community.
In China for almost 13 years, Bruno is one of the few foreigners who successfully led a Chinese mobile value-added services provider (under a mobile gaming license from IN-FUSIO) from 2002 to 2005, growing it into a 35-people profitable operation and a VC round. During 2002-2006, Bruno helped several other mobile and online VC-backed European companies expand in China. He then started a career as an investment professional advising growth-stage copanies and investing in several start-ups.
