The 2008 Mobile Excellence Awards is proud to present its inaugural 2008 Mobile Entertainment Awards Ceremony. The MEA’s look forward to recognizing all walks of the mobile ecosystem, including entertainment, media & technology in a series of upcoming events and panels for the mobile industry to share learn and celebrate 2008 in mobile.
We look forward to welcoming the industry to join us in honoring the 2008 Mobile Excellence Awards Winners at a prestigious awards ceremony taking place Monday, December 8th 2008, during a special Mobile Monday LA, at the Sofitel Hotel in West Hollywood with special guests, Kit Carson, award-winning screenwriter/producer as a special guest. Kit i is known for his legendary work with Running on Empty, Miami Vice, Breathless, The Last Word, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Bottle Rocket and many others.Carson also launched Hollywood talents such as Owen Wilson, Luke Wilson, and writer-director Wes Anderson. Come meet Kit Carson and hear about his latest mobile adventure – filming short documentaries in Africa shot from his Nokia cell phone, which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Spring.
