MoMo Dusseldorf – mHealth
Posted on: November 1, 2010 – Filed under: Dusseldorf
Dear MobileMonday friends & followers,
The year ends and we will have our final MoMo in Düsseldorf for 2010 on November 15th: Wireless Health – Keep the doctor away!
Opportunities in the global mobile healthcare market are estimated to be worth around € 40 bn in 2010 (McKinsey & Company), prompting operators and other giants out of the wireless industry to step up their initiatives in this emerging sector. A large proportion of the over four billion people using mobile phones today struggle to gain access to good quality and affordable healthcare, both in emerging markets and more developed societies. Mobile healthcare is clearly an opportunity to improve healthcare, manage costs and at the same time drive growth. It is something that mobile operators, hospitals, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, technology players, health insurance companies and governments too should all be looking at closely – as well as MoMo in Germany! Timing couldn’t be better: On November 17th, Medica – the world biggest medical fair & exhibition – opens the doors in Düsseldorf, and there will be a complete pavilion just on the topic of wireless health.
Our speakers are:
Clint McClellan, Sr. Director, Business Development Wireless Health, Qualcomm
Eyal Lewin, Managing Director SHL Telemedizin Germany,
Ulrich Schulze Althoff, Mobile healthcare – from measurement to management”
Time: November 15, 2010 from 6pm to 10pm
Location: Dusseldorf
Street: PLATZ DER IDEEN 1 (at Grey GmbH)
City/Town: Dusseldorf
More speakers will be announced soon, so stay tuned and make sure you’ll be there on 15th of November.
Your MoMo DUS team!
