From a chance meeting with the Adelaide Fringe CEO and a spur-of-the-moment unique idea, Formicary Australia, in 2008, created the world’s first iPhone festival guide. Now that the concept has moved from the local stage of the world’s second largest fringe festival – that would be the Adelaide Fringe – to the stages of the world, we’re putting the most convenient festival guide in the pockets of tens of thousands of punters everywhere with Fringe Genie: the world’s most ingenious festival apps.

At Mobile Monday we’ll tell you how we did it and what’s in store for the future of Fringe Genie and an infinite range of other markets for “content-driven apps”.
