The Global Mobile Internet Conference – Innovation Show intends to be a launch pad for innovative mobile internet startups from around the world. Innovation Show finalists will have the opportunity to present their company to investors, industry leaders, potential partners and the press. Finalists will be judged by and receive feedback from a team of respected venture capitalists and angel investors. The judges will choose one company as the GMIC Innovation Show Winner.

Company Requirements:

  • Must be a mobile internet based service/product
  • The focus of this startup competition is innovation so startups need to show how they disrupt the market
  • Must be a startup that has not received significant VC funding
  • Company can be from any country in the world

10 Finalists Receive:

  • 3 complimentary tickets to the conference ($4500 value)
  • Opportunity to give an 8 minute presentation on the main stage of the GMIC to an expected audience of 1000 mobile internet executives
  • 5 minutes of Q&A from VCs
  • A written evaluation by at least 4 VC’s
  • Invitation to the VIP/speakers dinner

Process:

  1. Applicants must submit the application form at this link and email a business plan (15 slides max in English) to info@thegreatwallclub.com by April 4
  2. Applications will be reviewed by the Global Mobile Internet Conference organizing committee.
  3. 10 companies will be announced as finalists on Friday, April 16.
  4. Finalists will present for 8 minutes followed by 5 minutes of Q&A on the main stage of the GMIC to the entire audience.
  5. Companies will be judged by a team of respected venture capitalists and angel investors. One company will be chosen as the winner based on who is « most fundable ».
  6. Each finalist will receive a written evaluation by at least 4 investors at the completion of the competition
