During the Innovation Festival Barcelona, Mobile Monday Barcelona is organizing its next event on November 2 in Barcelona Activa on the topic “Innovation in Mobile“.
During the last decade we have seen an increased flow of innovation around the mobile phone, which is becoming an indispensable gadget in nearly everyone’s life. Mobile devices outnumber desktop and laptop computers three to one worldwide and they are already the most popular access platform to the Internet. The convergence of mobile phone and web services is just the beginning of what may be regarded as true “ubiquitous computing”. The paradigm of anytime, anywhere, anyhow has become a reality in everyday life in a very short time.
But what’s next? Besides the current rat-race of getting the best contextual mobile services on the market, in the labs, smart people are already working on the next big things in mobile… Mobile Mixed Reality, Sensing Technologies, Nanoscience coming to the mobile device, the next 10 years might be even more innovative then we have know so far. For this session, we asked some these people how they innovate with their company in this very competitive landscape. What are the processes? Which criteria they use to make the difference?
In an open and relaxed atmosphere, Mobile Monday Barcelona in partnership with Forum Nokia and BCD (Barcelona Design Center) is inviting you to join us and share insights and different views on how companies continue to innovate in mobile.
