Mobile Monday Dublin, 29th September 2008
Posted on: September 16, 2008 – Filed under: Dublin
Hi all,
After our very successful Mobile Monday barbeque with the MMA in the summer, I would like to announce that we’ll be holding our next event the evening of the 29th September.
Often neglected (although they continue to be the major economic engine of the industry), we will be looking at Voice Services, and how they are quietly evolving just as intriguingly as the data services that steal all the headlines.
Our speakers include:
- Catherine Hegarty http://o2.ie
The Product Manager for Post-Pay Consumer Voice will cover trends in services and usage, particularly in Ireland, from an operator’s perspective - Andrew Fuller http://voxpilot.com
CTO of Dublin’s VoxPilot on what’s happening in the industry regarding IVR, video IVR and standardization - Pat Phelan http://maxroam.com & http://twitterfone.com
Demo session from Cubic Telecom entrepreneur, and renowned Cork blogger
As ever, we try to put on a good social event too, and we’ll have plenty of time for food and drink afterwards.
Drinks are very kindly sponsored by Tiger Beer.
Venue-wise, we liked the Odessa Club so much last time that we’re there again (it’s 13 Dame Court, Dublin). Drinks from 6:30pm, presentations start at 7:00pm sharp.
We do have a reasonable cap on numbers (which we hit last time), so please make sure you register as soon as possible to let us know you’re coming. You can register by mailing us directly at sept08@momodublin.com, or by leaving a comment below with your name and email address.
Looking forward to seeing you all again there!
James
