MobileMonday and MVNO’s started in Spain around the same time in 2006, so we thought it’s about time that we got together! So for the first time, on November  3, MobileMonday Madrid will have a session dedicated to the MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) perspective with speakers from not one, but three MVNO’s: MásMóvil, Bankinter Móvil and Simyo, and the analysis from a pricing expert from Simon – Kucher & Partners. As usual, we will also have two presentations from Spanish startups to be announced at the event itself. Don’t miss this great event!

Speakers:

Philip Daus, Senior Consultant at Simon – Kucher & Partners Strategy & Marketing Consultants in the Madrid office.

Philip has spent more than four years working for Simon-Kucher and, as a consultant and project manager, has done projects for leading companies both nationally and internationally. Specializes in fixing and optimizing pricing, processes and systems of pricing discounts. Philip has an MBA from Instituto de Empresa Business School in Madrid, Previously, he graduated in economics at WHU Vallendar, Germany. Philip is the author of several articles on price management and is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars.

Maini Spenger, Co-Founder & CEO, MásMóvil

Law Degree – Graz / Austria and Trieste / Italy, Maini has an MBA at the Instituto de Empresa (IE) and the Italian business school SDA Bocconi (Milan). With a wide international experience in Austria, Germany, Italy and Spain, worked for five years as a consultant at McKinsey, where he served as Engagement Manager and was a member of the European Committee of Experts on Telephony.

Sergio Martínez-Cava Camacho, Innovation CTO and Head of Strategy & Marketing at Bankinter Móvil

Born in Spain, Industrial Engineer from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and holds a MBA from the Instituto de Empresa. He began his career with Telefonica Moviles, as the technical officer of the interconnection and roaming agreements at the international level and delegate of Telefonica in the GSM Association. In 2005 he joined the department of mobile banking – in business development and marketing with the aim of boosting the financial business through this channel. In 2006 became part of Bankinter, as director of innovation projects. Since December 2007 is responsible for strategy and marketing of Bankinter and CTO Mobile Area Innovation Bank.

Jochen Doppelhammer, CEO of KPN (Simyo) in Spain

Jochen is responsible for the business of the Dutch operator in the Spanish market. Bachelor’s degree in business administration and computer science from the University of Passau, Germany, has over twelve years of experience in management and development in in mobile, Internet and Media. Doppelhammer specializes in business development, marketing, strategy and product management. Previously he was at ‘T-Mobile International’ as head of European strategy and business segment marketing; ‘Institut Futur’ (now ‘The Node Company’); and ‘DiamondCluster International’ (now integrated into ‘Oliver Wyman’).
