MobileMonday Brussels event on Mobile DATA

The registration for Mobile DATA evening on 13/12 is still open; Be careful in your schedule as this meeting takes place in Antwerp at Alcatel-Lucent offices.
From a technology perspective, Alcatel- Lucent is really well placed to take advantage of the LTE networks being deployed world-wide. And a lot of the core technology is being developed right here in Antwerp, a reason to be proud of.
In the program you will have the introduction, and possibility to visit hands-on the mobile data demo center. From a timing perspective, the auctions of frequency for faster data networks are being decided all over Europe, and one is in the pipelines in Belgium as well; so really exciting.

From an operator perspective, the move from a mobile voice centric to a mobile data centric orientation is a clear opportunity to test out new ways of delivering services; it will be interesting to hear the different operators, be it a mobile data oriented MVNO like Mobile Viking, a full MVNO like Telenet, and a Network Operator like Belgacom. The program of Mobilemonday 2011 will also be announced.
