MobileMonday – Mobile App eats Mobile Web

It is high season for mobile applications:

The number of application stores are growing and so is the number of downloaded apps.
With the appearance of the iPhone Store and the Android Market not only the technology has changed the way mobile functionality is technically delivered to the end user – a complete new mobile ecosystem has been successfully established based on this approach.

Where does this leave the mobile web?
Are mobile enabled websites an endangered species?
Is the browser an outdated and/or less useful delivery platform?
Do you have to develop mobile apps, if you want to earn money?

MobileMonday Dusseldorf has invited speakers from both camps for a heated discussion about the pros and cons of both approaches. Get ready to join the discussion. We want your opinion too!”

Speakers:

– Jörg Ruwe, Sevenval
– Michael von Roeder, Icon Mobile
– Lars Hartkopf, netbiscuits
– Torsten Schollmayer, Sapient Nitro
– Markus Kucborski, Vodafone
