MoMo Adelaide – July 29th – The Entrepreneur Ecosystem
Posted on: July 10, 2013 – Filed under: Adelaide

Mobile Monday is an important part of a thriving ecosystem of support for entrepreneurs in Adelaide.
Members of this community have come together to map the support programs that exist and this has generated a lot of interest from the entrepreneurship community and from other stakeholders, including education and government. Adelaide City Council sponsored and pro-actively supported a Forum in June to explore the environment for startups and to identify ways in which this environment can be ‘turbocharged’.
At this month’s Mobile Monday, Paul Daly will describe the work being done to channel the amazing energy in this community into productive actions and will seek your feedback on the proposed themes and priorities that have emerged out of this process.
This initiative is being driven by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs – so come help us drive!
How important is Mobile Monday? MEGA and in the past AIMIA have provided critical support for the operation of Mobile Monday in Adelaide. Other sponsors, such as Kelly & Co and mNet, have sponsored specific meetings, for which we are very grateful. However, I am sad to say that MEGA is no longer in a position to continue its financial support of MoMo. If it is to continue, we need to look at alternative models of maintaining MoMo in Adelaide. I will be looking for your thoughts and feedback on models for keeping Mobile Monday alive in Adelaide.
The application of mobile technology is at the forefront of entrepreneurial endeavour. Come and share your thoughts on the development of our startup community and on the future of our beloved MoMo.
