What are the mobile trends and hot topics for spring 2011? The Mobile World Congress is always a good place to spot them, so let’s hear Timo Argillander from Digital Media Finland sum up the MWC talks about Nokia&Microsoft, operators in search for growth, buzz around mobile apps, mobile publishing and the latest gear. And when everyone seems to be talking about Nokia, we want to hear what’s happening at Microsoft, so let’s welcome Mika Okkola to the stage to share some insights.

Talking about mobile trends in 2011 we also need to remember the growing and vast potential of the developing countries. Jari Tammisto from MobileMonday will tell about the topics and news from the infoDev Global Forum in Helsinki in May 28 – June 3, 2011 in Helsinki. And let’s not forget about MoMo’s role as a trendsetter in using Design Thinking, Co-Creation and open communities in mobile – Petri “Pete” Salminen will share the latest finds about the topic.

The event is held at Molly Malone’s, Kaisaniemenkatu 1, Helsinki, and moderated by Jari Tammisto from MobileMonday. The event is free of charge.
